We are looking for a casual Level 1/2 Onsite Desktop Support to work during business hours. This role will provide professional, customer focused, technical support to our customers. The Level 1/2 Desktop Support will be passionate about providing exemplary customer service to the end users. Some after-hours work on rare occasions. Own vehicle and full drivers licence requirement. If you are looking to start your career in IT and gain experience, a level 1 Desktop Support Engineer maybe the position for you. Responsibilities: Troubleshooting Level 1 IT issues
Ensuring functionality of new hardware
Hardware break-fix
Point of Sale (POS) system and Self-service Kiosks
Rebuild hardware/software
Software update deployment
Reinstall and activate OS
Investigate HW/SW issues
Report findings to escalation/remote support engineer
Perform HW audits
Floorwalking
Preventative Maintenance, as required.
Basic Networking Skills (e.g., Cisco) will be highly considered Experience:
A team player who is reliable, responsible, and process oriented.
Excellent troubleshooting skills.
Excellent communication skills, attention to detail and motivation to kick-start your career.
Experience supporting Windows Operating Systems.
The ability to work autonomously to get the job done.
