Seeking an experienced BDM for this renowned global premium designer furniture brand, to spearhead their brand's trade/commercial channel here in NZ
About the Company & Role:Develop new business opportunities in residential and trade sectors, targeting key stakeholders such as property developers, project managers, real estate agents, interior designers, and architects
Immerse yourself in our world-class brand at our Auckland showroom, gaining in-depth product knowledge and understanding of customer profiles
Generate leads, build a robust prospect pipeline, and drive sales growth aligned with business goals
Manage trade client relationships, oversee sales budgets, and track performance effectively
Deliver exceptional customer service, product expertise, and support to ensure a seamless client experience
About You:Proven success in business development and sales growth, particularly in the furniture or home interior industry
Experience in selling premium or luxury goods, or within a commercial environment like interior design, is highly desirable
Excellent communication skills for both face-to-face pitches and written correspondence
Thrives in fast-paced environments, with a strong drive for success
Effective at building and nurturing relationships both internally and externally
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM tools, and sales reporting
Ability to work autonomously, manage priorities effectively, and achieve sales targets
