Community Centre Coordinator

Job Description

We are looking for a very organised individual with a passion for community, and excellent communication & office skills to be the inaugural Coordinator for the newly refurbished, heritage listed, old Post Office building - now the Naenae Community Centre.

If you are interested in developing the job as well as working it, then this is for you.

You will be able to:

• work with the diverse members of the Naenae community
• proactively build and maintain networks and positive relationships with people, organisations and businesses from Naenae, the Hutt, and possibly the region and beyond
• see opportunities for developing the role and the Centre, and convert them to actions and outcomes
• coordinate events and activities within the Community Centre
• maintain business records using standard office applications

This coordinator position is for between 30-40 hours per week during normal working hours (open to negotiation).
