Compliance manager

* Role suited to Experienced construction compliance candidates * NZ experience a must - Position available to start asap * Contact Paddy on for confidential discussion Our client, a nationally recognised developer is recruiting a Compliance Manager capable of handling all compliance matters with local government as well as QA for a large scale commercial construction project due for completion end of next year. Based on site in Tauranga the Compliance Manager is required to manage the development and implementation of the Group's compliance framework This person will know construction and the processes associated with dealing with local government and consultants. This role is responsible for leading the company's Compliance & quality Program "Do It Once Do It Right".. To be successful in the role form the outset, its is expected you have commercial construction experience. * Reviewing and approving quality control plans and procedures for construction projects * Conducting audits and inspections to verify that construction work is being performed according to plans, specifications, and regulations * Conducting material inspections to verify that construction materials meet the required standards and specifications * Conducting testing and sampling of construction materials to verify their quality and compliance with specifications * Monitoring the construction programme to ensure that quality control activities are properly integrated and timely executed * Reviewing and resolving non-conformance reports and taking appropriate corrective and preventive actions * Participating in project meetings to provide quality assurance input and support * Developing and maintaining quality assurance documentation and records * Providing guidance and training to project personnel on quality assurance requirements and procedures * Ensuring compliance with all applicable local authority, safety and environmental regulations. * Tracking and monitoring close out of Site Observation Reports in conjunction with the Site Managers You must have NZ citizenship or residency in place coupled with NZ construction experience to be considered for this position.
