The System Leadership Team at Crown Law are looking for an experienced government lawyer to join us, working as Crown Counsel until June 2025.

Crown Law provides legal advice and representation services to the government in matters affecting the executive government, particularly in the areas of criminal, public law and Treaty of Waitangi. Crown Law’s vision is to provide collaborative, indispensable legal services.
The System Leadership Team is based in the Attorney-General Group and assists the Solicitor-General fulfil her system leadership role for lawyers providing the Crown with legal services. We leverage the collective strength of the government’s 850+ lawyers, support those lawyers to do their jobs inside agencies, and encourage decision-makers to make better use of their lawyers and legal resources.
