SeekTeachers is currently looking for as Grade 4 & 5 Maths and Science teacher to join our client in Doha, Qatar. 

Our client is an expanding International Baccalaureate (IB) School located in Doha, Qatar. Job Description:

The school is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Grade 4/5 Maths and Science Teacher to their team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in teaching these subjects within an IB framework and a passion for fostering critical thinking, creativity, and a love of learning in young students.

Key Responsibilities:

- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Maths and Science lessons in alignment with the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) curriculum.

- Foster a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages student participation and inquiry-based learning.

- Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback to students and parents.

- Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary units of inquiry and integrate the IB Learner Profile into daily teaching practices.

- Participate actively in professional development opportunities and contribute to the school’s continuous improvement initiatives.

- Engage in school community activities and events, promoting a culture of collaboration and respect.

- Maintain accurate records of student performance, attendance, and other required documentation.

- Uphold the school’s mission, vision, and values in all professional interactions and responsibilities.

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Maths, Science, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).

- Valid teaching certification.

- Minimum of 2 years’ experience teaching Maths and Science at the primary level, preferably within an IB school.

- Thorough understanding of the IB PYP framework and its implementation.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Proficiency in using educational technology and digital tools to enhance learning.

- Strong organizational and time management skills.

- Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural environment.

Minimum Application Requirements

Qualification:

Minimum Qualification Requirement: M.Ed, B.Ed or a relevant Bachelor's Degree with a Teaching Qualification

Must be a native speaker of English

Prefer candidates with international experience

Teachers with a degree but no teaching qualification are NOT accepted

Non-western trained teachers who have worked in an international educational institute before are NOT accepted

Remuneration Package

Salary Range:

A salary from 11,000 up to 14,000  QAR (Qatar Riyal)per month based on experience and qualification, TAX FREE
