Te Tūranga /About the Role:
The International Support Coordinator is responsible for providing pastoral care to our international workers to ensure they are supported and engaged throughout their tenure with Silver Fern Farms. They will work alongside department leaders to improve their engagement and attendance by assessing and overcoming any barriers to the success of them settling in New Zealand. This role will also support the People and site leadership team with various People related processes such as; HR activities, on boarding, and other projects.
This position is based at our Hawera site and interested candidates will need to be able to commute or relocate to the area.

You will be a relationship builder and be able to develop connections with people at all levels of the business and across multiple different cultures. You will operate with empathy and understanding; utilising your people skills to provide innovative solutions to solve problems and opportunities for improvement at site. You will have a background in working with people and might have some experience or be wanting working towards a career in HR; or you might come from a role where you were helping people in the community and liaising with multiple stakeholders.
Some knowledge of the current work visa scheme would be advantageous but not essential as full support will be provided.
