NZP manufactures a range of products for export to pharmaceutical, health food, and biotechnology markets worldwide. We are seeking staff to join our maintenance team, supporting the manufacturing facility for a successful and growing organisation. As a Maintenance Fitter you will be joining our engineering team based Palmerston North to work on the planned preventative, proactive, and reactive maintenance programme to maximise facility reliability and to minimise unplanned disruption. You will use your strong communication skills together with your eye for continuous improvement to support our production facilities. Alongside this, practical problem-solving skills and a strong commitment to Health and Safety is fundamental to the role. Our Maintenance Fitters work as part of a team that supports our facility and work to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). Your attention to detail and ability to follow procedures is essential in maintaining accurate and compliant maintenance records on work conducted. The hours of work for this position are 6:00AM to 6:10PM working on a 4 days on, 4 days off roster across 7 days.
