Management Accountant

The Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced and qualified CA “Management Accountant” to join our growing team in Dunedin. This opportunity is a permanent, full-time position on a Monday-Friday basis.

The Management Accountant will be primarily responsible for the preparation of monthly management accounts for various group entitles across the company.

You will be responsible for:

• Preparation of monthly management accounts across the group.
• Project accounting including collating scope variations, project invoicing and producing monthly project cost summaries.
• Capital and project expenditure is analysed and reported to enable quality reporting to managers.
• Regular reviews and monitoring of reporting and ensuring effectiveness of the financial information is accurate and up-to-date.
• Financial and expert advice on corporate documents such as Annual and monthly reports.
• Conducting Regular reviews on internal cost allocations as part of the budget preparation and financial modelling.

To be a great match to this role you will:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or relevant industry.
• NZICA (ACA or CA) qualified accountant. (Mandatory)
• 3-5+ years of relevant accounting experience in either a chartered accounting or corporate environment.
• Ability to build effective internal and external stakeholder relationships.
• Strong communication skills across all levels of the business. 
• Proficiency in data management systems and software’s such as Microsoft Excel, BI and Systeline.
• Full working rights in New Zealand.
