About the opportunity 

The newly created role of  National Operations & Optimisation Manager is a career-defining opportunity to make your mark on Operations across T&G Fresh. We have a huge appetite for positive change and continuous improvement, so you'll have the autonomy to draw on your expertise to make recommendations and execute at pace.

Key responsibilities include:

• Conduct a review of current operations and identify opportunities to increase efficiency, productivity, and quality, and reduce cost
• Develop the national operations strategy 
• Drive operational effectiveness across our 11 fresh produce market sites nationwide in partnership with the Market Managers
  
• Manage the Quality Control, Food Safety, and Crates & Pallets functions and leaders
• Review and oversee the commercial and operational performance of our Auckland packing unit
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives and projects across all operational teams
  
• Contribute to strategic and budget planning with the T&G Fresh leadership team
  

Based in Auckland (Mt Wellington) with a national remit, the attractive salary package includes a company vehicle.
