He angitūtanga: The opportunity
Our Digital team is growing, and we are looking for an exceptional Product Owner to look after the Data and Integrations portfolio.

Our Product Owners are the “voice of our customers” and champion the user experience across the products under their portfolio. This role is newly created and responsible for the creation of the product vision, designing and maintaining the product delivery roadmap, and working with cross-functional teams to deliver against it. This includes:

• Work closely with our stakeholders to support the development of their business vision by providing a product strategy with a 1-2 year horizon by evaluating customer insights, competitor, technology, and market trends.
• Undertake discovery on initiatives on the roadmap and challenge stakeholder thinking on initiatives that hold minimal value.
• Prioritise initiatives based on value, and clearly articulate the why and the what.
• Assess the performance of our products against key metrics and provide recommendations to invest, sustain, or retire. Apply creative reasoning to explore alternative options and formulate solutions. 
• Collaborate with a cross-functional team to deliver initiatives and add value to our stakeholders and customers.
• Champion the data and analytics end-user experience across the organisation

He kōrero mōu: About you
You will have excellent communication and time management skills, including a high level of problem-solving and decision-making skills, using professional judgment. You will also bring:

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a digital product owner role
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience developing and delivering digital experiences, products and services
• Ability to prioritise work and make trade off decisions
• Understand principles and concepts of data science, including experience delivering data and analytics outcomes to business on data platforms
• Knowledge of integration platforms and integration patterns – API driven, or file driven, through middleware and gateways
• Working knowledge of data business objects and metadata management through master data management patterns
• Experience of managing client and / or stakeholder relationships
• Experience working in an environment comprising multiple projects and tide deadlines
