Senior Developer - Taxi

• Contribute to the improvement of our new platform, participating from inception to execution, consistently enhancing user experiences for both internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with members of the wider team on new features, new products, UI and UX improvements, architecture, infrastructure, and strategic growth.
• Develop and review robust code, ensuring it's highly functional, thoroughly documented, rigorously tested, and maintains high coding standards.
• Contribute to the continual improvement of our product development practices and ways of working.
• Collaborate with your peers and act as a mentor for those who are hungry to learn from you.
• Have a genuine enthusiasm for your craft and profession that leads to innovative technical decisions and motivates others to raise their game.

We seek someone with high initiative, motivation, and enthusiasm for their craft, paired with excellent problem-solving skills. Your expertise in PHP, particularly with Symfony, and experience in Go for web services are crucial. You should possess an appreciation for writing unit tests, adeptness in debugging and testing, as well as an awareness of UI design aesthetics. Collaboration with designers using tools like Figma or Adobe XD is also very important. Frontend development expertise, encompassing semantic HTML, SCSS, and proficiency in modern JavaScript frameworks like ReactJS or VueJS, is highly desired.

Crucial DevOps competency involving writing bash scripts, CI and container configuration, database restoration, Slack integration, and maintaining AWS infrastructure (RDS, EC2, Lambda, S3, ECR, IAM, etc.) is essential.

Battle-hardened experience in RESTful API design is essential. Demonstrating openness to honest feedback, cultivating self-awareness and a growth mindset, and aligning with Taxis' vision, mission, and culture are paramount.
