Engineering Software Test Intern

Role and Responsibilities

Assist in the development and improvement of internal tools, solutions and systems used by Veriphi in its development of laser intravenous drug analysis solutions. Tackle technical challenges, provide suggestions, and participate in group problem solving.  Support the development, improvement and set up of testing environments and solutions.

i.     Veriphi’s proprietary products utilize a variety of software applications. These need to be integrated into a common software testing platform. This will provide the following:

- Automation and integration with CI/CD
- Reliability
- Scalability
- New features
- New functionality

This will involve working with electronics, software, firmware, mechanical, and associated design, development & testing tools
 

ii.      Project - develop an automated software testing solution to test software for correct functionality:

- Design the solution
- Code, configure, integrate and test
- Write any CI/CD code/scripting required
- Test for correct operation – including integration with supporting firmware and software solutions
- Document testing methods, steps, and results
- Create a User Guide

Key Attributes

- C/C# programming experience on Windows/Linux OSes, and familiarity with embedded systems
- Experience with test automation tools and/or languages (examples: Python, AccelQ, Selenium, etc.)
- Hands-on, proactive, and self-motivated
- Able to work independently or in a team environment
- Strong communication and reporting skills
- Experience with scientific test methods to isolate and measure desired parameters desirable
