Make an Impact

This is a paid 400-hour Summer Internship Programme, from 24 November 2025 to 13 February 2025. You will be working with cross-functional teams to design intuitive, innovative and well-crafted user experiences for business travellers. Serko, as a Kiwi technology company, is committed to giving back to the tech community. You will work alongside industry professionals and be supported by experienced mentors & business leaders.

What you'll get to do

• Collaborate with product managers, engineers and other product designers to understand needs and translate them into design solutions.
• Participate in design critiques and provide constructive feedback on your own and others' work.
• Assist with the development of our design systems and maintain design consistency across Serko products.
• Facilitate and/or observe user research and testing of prototypes; customer interviews and other field research.
• Participate in workshops during discovery and delivery.

About You

• A strong passion for learning and a desire to grow as a product designer.
• Strong understanding of design principles (e.g., user interface design, user experience design).
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Open to receiving constructive feedback in a safe and inclusive work environment.
• Proficiency in design software.
• Currently enrolled in a design program (e.g., graphic design, user experience design) or a related field.
