Job Description - Work Experience Program- Customer Service Ambassador

Are you looking to gain real workplace experience, build confidence, and strengthen your CV?

AOR is excited to offer a two‑week work experience program for friends and family members of AOR employees. This program is ideal for anyone curious about a future in our organisation or anyone simply wanting practical, hands‑on experience in a professional environment.

About the Program

Participants will spend up to two weeks shadowing an experienced Customer Service Ambassador (CSA). This is a chance to:

  • Experience day‑to‑day life inside a busy, customer‑focused team
  • Observe real tasks and workplace processes
  • Build foundational professional skills
  • Learn directly from experienced staff
  • Gain exposure to a modern, supportive workplace environment

This program is unpaid and does not lead to automatic employment, but it is a valuable way to enhance your CV and explore future career paths.

Program Schedule Example

Week 1: Morning shift (7am -11am), Monday to Friday

Week 2: Afternoon shift (2pm - 6pm), Monday to Friday

Applicants should be flexible with shift times and comfortable participating in the scheduled hours.

Who Can Apply?

  • We welcome applications from individuals who:
  • Are 18 years old or older (no upper age limit)
  • Have full, unrestricted right to work in New Zealand
  • Are motivated to learn and willing to participate fully
  • Are interested in building workplace skills
  • Are available for the full 2‑week program

No previous experience is required.

To be considered for the Work Experience Program, applicants must first receive a referral link from an AOR team member. Once the referral is received, candidates will be asked to upload their CV and complete all required information in the application portal. Shortlisted applicants will then be invited to participate in a video interview as part of the selection process.
