Accountant - Remote Work

Job Description:

Air New Zealand is seeking a dedicated and experienced Accountant to join our team on a part-time basis for remote work in Nelson, NZ. As an Associate Level Accountant, you will be responsible for managing financial information, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. This position requires a minimum of 4 years of experience in accounting.

Responsibilities: - Manage financial records and ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data - Prepare and analyze financial reports such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements - Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes - Monitor compliance with accounting standards and regulations - Collaborate with other team members to improve financial processes and procedures - Provide financial analysis and recommendations to management

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field - 4+ years of experience in accounting - Energetic and resilient personality traits - Strong critical thinking and strategic planning skills - Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
