Accounts Receivable - Remote Work

Job Description:

Big Lots is seeking a motivated and driven individual to join our team as a Remote Accounts Receivable Associate. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the accounts receivable process remotely from Dunedin, Otago, NZ. This is a part-time position at the Associate level, requiring at least 2 years of experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities: - Review and reconcile customer accounts - Generate and send out invoices - Follow up on overdue payments - Process payments received - Resolve billing discrepancies - Assist with month-end closing procedures - Prepare aging reports - Update customer records

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred - 2+ years of experience in accounts receivable - Strong analytical skills - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel - Excellent communication skills - Ability to work independently and meet deadlines - Leadership skills - Detail-oriented - Ability to work remotely with minimal supervision
