Remote Accountant

Job Description:

Figured is seeking a confident and driven Remote Accountant to join our team in Nelson, NZ. This part-time position is perfect for an entry-level professional with at least 1 year of experience in accounting.

Responsibilities: - Prepare financial statements and reports for clients - Analyze financial data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement - Provide strategic financial guidance to clients to help them achieve their business goals - Collaborate with team members and clients to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting - Use technology and data analysis tools to streamline processes and improve efficiency - Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in accounting

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance - CPA certification preferred - Strong analytical skills and emotional intelligence - Excellent communication and collaboration abilities - Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel - Ability to work independently and meet deadlines - Experience working remotely is a plus
