Remote Accountant

Job Description:

Energy Transfer Equity is seeking a dedicated and hardworking Remote Accountant to join our team in Napier, Hawke's Bay, NZ. As an Associate Level position, the ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in accounting and possess a strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities: - Prepare and examine financial records, statements, and other reports - Analyze and reconcile accounts payable and receivable - Assist with budget preparation and financial forecasting - Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies - Prepare and coordinate audits - Support month-end and year-end close processes - Provide financial analysis and support to management as needed - Perform other accounting duties as assigned

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance - 2+ years of experience in accounting - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities - Creativity in problem-solving - Proven time management skills - Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
