Remote Accountant

Job Description: Kohl’s is seeking a Remote Accountant to join our team in Dunedin, Otago, NZ. This position is part-time and at the Associate Level, requiring a minimum of 4 years of experience in accounting. The ideal candidate should be driven, confident, adaptable, and persuasive.

Responsibilities: - Prepare financial statements and reports for management - Analyze financial data and trends to provide insights and recommendations - Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes - Conduct audits and ensure compliance with accounting standards - Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial goals are met - Participate in financial planning and analysis activities - Assist with tax preparation and filing - Stay up-to-date on industry trends and changes in accounting regulations

Requirements: - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance - CPA or equivalent certification preferred - Minimum of 4 years of accounting experience - Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Attention to detail and accuracy
