Accountant

Job Description:

WEC Energy Group is seeking a detail-oriented and passionate Accountant to join our team in Auckland, NZ. As an Entry Level Accountant, you will be responsible for assisting with financial reporting, budget analysis, and general accounting duties. This part-time position provides a great opportunity for individuals looking to gain valuable experience in the field of accounting.

Responsibilities: - Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports - Conduct budget analysis and assist with financial forecasting - Perform general ledger reconciliations and journal entries - Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes - Help with auditing and compliance tasks - Collaborate with other team members to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards - Provide support to the finance team as needed

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field - Strong analytical skills and attention to detail - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Resourceful and willing to learn new skills - Passion for accounting and finance - Leadership skills with the ability to take initiative - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
