Accountant - Work from home

Job Description: Whirlpool is seeking a part-time Accountant to work from home in Auckland, NZ. As an Associate Level Accountant, you will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing financial statements, analyzing financial data, and assisting with budgeting and forecasting. You will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations, as well as providing financial analysis and reporting to support decision-making.

Responsibilities: - Manage financial records and transactions - Prepare and analyze financial statements - Assist with budgeting and forecasting - Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations - Provide financial analysis and reporting - Support decision-making processes - Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate financial information - Maintain confidentiality of financial data - Stay up-to-date on industry trends and changes in accounting standards

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field - Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience - Hardworking and passionate about accounting - Strong strategic planning and decision-making skills - Ability to work independently and meet deadlines - Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting
