Job Description:

Leucadia National is seeking a part-time Accounts Payable Associate to join our team in Napier, Hawke's Bay, NZ. As an Accounts Payable Associate, you will be responsible for managing the company's accounts payable process and ensuring timely and accurate payments to vendors and suppliers. This role requires a keen attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities: - Process invoices and expense reports for payment - Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies - Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures - Collaborate with internal departments to resolve payment issues - Assist with month-end close activities and financial reporting - Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all accounts payable transactions

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field - Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts payable or related role - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities - Adaptable and confident personality traits - Creativity and leadership skills
