Job Description:
Spectra Energy is seeking a motivated and independent individual to join our team as an Accounts Payable Clerk in our Hamilton, Waikato office. This entry-level position is part-time, perfect for someone looking to gain experience in the finance field.
Responsibilities: - Process accounts payable invoices and payments accurately and timely - Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies - Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues - Assist with month-end closing procedures - Maintain accurate financial records and documentation - Assist with other finance and accounting tasks as needed
Requirements: - 1 year of experience in a finance or accounting role - Motivated and independent with the ability to work with minimal supervision - Strong research and critical thinking skills - Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills - Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software - Knowledge of basic accounting principles
