Job Description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and efficient Accounts Payable Associate to join our team at Liberty Mutual Insurance Group in Hamilton, Waikato, NZ. As an Associate level role, we require a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar position. The ideal candidate will be confident and independent, possessing excellent negotiation skills and emotional intelligence.

Responsibilities: - Process accounts payable invoices and payments accurately and timely - Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies - Assist in month-end closing activities related to accounts payable - Communicate with vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth operations - Participate in ad-hoc financial projects as needed

Requirements: - 3+ years of experience in accounts payable or a related field - Confident and independent personality traits - Strong negotiation skills and emotional intelligence - Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel - Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
