Online Accountant

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Online Accountant to join our team at CMS Energy in Christchurch, Canterbury, NZ. This is a part-time position with an entry-level seniority, perfect for a recent graduate or someone looking to start their career in accounting.

Responsibilities: - Manage and reconcile online accounts for our clients - Prepare financial statements and reports - Assist with budgeting and forecasting - Conduct financial analysis and provide recommendations - Collaborate with team members to ensure accuracy and efficiency - Stay up-to-date on tax laws and regulations - Provide excellent customer service to clients - Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field - Energetic and driven personality - Strong adaptability and teamwork skills - Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities - Ability to work independently and meet deadlines - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software - No prior experience required, but internship or relevant coursework is a plus
