Online Accounts Payable

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as an Online Accounts Payable at Commercial Metals in Dunedin, Otago, NZ. This is a part-time position at the associate level, requiring a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities: - Process accounts payable transactions in our online system accurately and in a timely manner - Reconcile vendor statements and follow up on any discrepancies - Communicate effectively with vendors and internal stakeholders regarding payment inquiries - Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts payable - Maintain organized electronic records of all accounts payable transactions - Provide support to the finance team as needed

Requirements: - Adaptable and energetic personality traits - Strong communication skills and ability to effectively manage relationships with vendors and colleagues - 2 years of experience in accounts payable or a similar role - Proficiency in using online accounting software and Microsoft Office suite - Ability to work independently and meet deadlines - Experience with people management is a plus
