Job Description - Administrative Associate

American Financial Group is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Administrative Associate to join our team in Wellington, New Zealand. As an Associate Level position, the ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in an administrative role.


Responsibilities: 1. Provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office. 2. Assist in managing the company's day-to-day operations. 3. Handle incoming and outgoing communication, including emails and phone calls. 4. Schedule appointments and maintain calendars for team members. 5. Manage office supplies and equipment, including ordering supplies as needed. 6. Assist in organizing and coordinating company events or meetings. 7. Perform basic bookkeeping tasks, such as processing invoices and expense reports. 8. Maintain electronic and physical filing systems for company records. 9. Assist in compiling reports or presentations for senior management. 10. Handle any other administrative tasks as assigned.


Requirements: 1. Adaptable and able to work in a fast-paced environment. 2. Reliable and able to prioritize tasks effectively. 3. Excellent time management skills. 4. Strong problem-solving abilities. 5. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other office software. 6. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. 7. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. 8. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field preferred.
