Job Description - Office Manager

Job Description:


Jacobs Engineering Group is seeking a dynamic and organized Office Manager to join our team in Nelson, NZ. In this part-time role, the Office Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our office and ensuring the smooth running of our administrative functions.


Responsibilities: - Oversee office operations including managing office supplies, equipment maintenance, and coordinating office events - Supervise administrative staff and provide guidance and support as needed - Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence and communications - Maintain office records and files in an organized manner - Assist with scheduling meetings and appointments for senior management - Manage office budgets and expenses - Coordinate with external vendors and service providers - Handle basic HR functions such as onboarding new employees and maintaining employee records - Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures - Other ad-hoc administrative tasks as required


Requirements: - 2 years of experience in office management or a related field - Energetic and resilient personality traits - Strong organizational and time management skills - Creativity and adaptability in problem-solving - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other office software - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - A proactive and resourceful approach to tasks
