Job Description - Online Operations Manager

As the Online Operations Manager at Mohawk Industries in Christchurch, Canterbury, NZ, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations of our online platform. This part-time position is ideal for someone with mid-to-senior level experience in the e-commerce industry, with at least 8 years of relevant experience.


Responsibilities: - Develop and implement strategies to optimize the online platform, including website functionality, user experience, and online marketing campaigns - Manage a team of online operations specialists, providing guidance, feedback, and support as needed - Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to online sales, traffic, and customer engagement, and make data-driven decisions to improve performance - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, marketing, and customer service, to ensure seamless online operations - Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices, and make recommendations for continuous improvement - Oversee inventory management for online products, ensuring accurate stock levels and timely updates on out-of-stock items - Handle customer escalations and resolve any issues related to online orders, payment processing, or shipping


Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field - Demonstrated experience in e-commerce operations, preferably in a retail or consumer goods company - Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well in a team environment - Adaptable and resourceful, with a proactive approach to problem-solving - Proven track record of planning and executing online initiatives to drive business growth - Experience in people management, with a focus on mentorship and development - Knowledge of online marketing strategies, SEO, and digital analytics tools
