Operations Manager

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a driven and hardworking Operations Manager to join our team at Costco in Tauranga, Bay Of Plenty, NZ. As a part-time employee in a mid-to-senior level position, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our warehouse club.

Responsibilities: - Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to improve efficiency and productivity - Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and ensure proper allocation of resources - Lead and supervise a team of employees, providing guidance and support as needed - Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement - Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless coordination and communication - Resolve any operational issues or concerns in a timely and effective manner - Stay informed about industry trends and best practices to drive continuous improvement

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field - 7 years of experience in operations management, preferably in a retail or warehouse setting - Strong leadership and communication skills - Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications - Experience with inventory management systems is a plus
