Operations Manager

Job Description:

Anzco Foods is seeking a dedicated and resourceful Operations Manager to join our team in Dunedin, Otago, NZ. As a mid-to-senior level professional with at least 7 years of experience, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our facility.

Responsibilities: - Manage all aspects of the production process to ensure efficiency and quality standards are met - Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs - Supervise and mentor a team of employees to ensure productivity and performance goals are achieved - Collaborate with other department heads to coordinate workflow and resolve any operational issues - Monitor and analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions - Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies - Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to employees - Participate in budgeting and forecasting activities for the operations department

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in business administration, operations management, or related field - Proven experience in a managerial role within a manufacturing or production environment - Strong leadership and communication skills - Excellent problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills - Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines - Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and other relevant software - Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
