Operations Manager

Job Description:

XPO Logistics is seeking a dynamic and experienced Operations Manager to join our team in Tauranga, Bay Of Plenty, NZ. As a part-time Associate Level position, the Operations Manager will play a key role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our logistics company.

Responsibilities: - Oversee and manage the overall operations of the Tauranga branch - Lead and motivate a team of employees to meet and exceed operational goals - Develop and implement strategic plans to improve efficiency and productivity - Monitor and analyze Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to ensure operational success - Maintain a safe and efficient working environment for all staff - Coordinate with other departments to streamline processes and improve communication - Handle vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for services - Implement quality control measures to ensure customer satisfaction - Create and maintain operational reports for upper management

Requirements: - 5 years of experience in logistics or a related field - Adaptable and energetic personality traits - Strong leadership and strategic planning skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities - Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field preferred
