Job Description - Personal Assistant

Job Description:


Alaska Air Group is seeking a dedicated and passionate Personal Assistant to join our team in Nelson, NZ. As a Personal Assistant, you will provide personalized administrative support to our executives and ensure smooth day-to-day operations. This is a part-time, entry-level position ideal for individuals looking to kickstart their career in the aviation industry.


Responsibilities: 1. Manage and coordinate executive calendars, appointments, and meetings. 2. Handle correspondence, emails, and phone calls on behalf of executives. 3. Arrange and coordinate travel arrangements, including flights, accommodations, and transportation. 4. Prepare documents, presentations, and reports for meetings. 5. Conduct research and compile data as needed for projects and initiatives. 6. Assist with personal tasks and errands for executives as required. 7. Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion. 8. Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and communication. 9. Support the executives in strategic planning and decision-making processes. 10. Use creativity and innovative thinking to streamline processes and improve efficiency.


Requirements: 1. High school diploma or equivalent. 2. No prior experience required, but a willingness to learn and grow in the role. 3. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. 4. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities. 5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and other office software. 6. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively. 7. Strategic planning skills and a creative mindset. 8. Ability to thrive in an energetic and rapidly evolving work setting.
