Job Description - Account Support Officer - Remote Work

Job Description:


Sonic Automotive is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Account Support Officer to join our team on a part-time basis. This position will be based remotely in Napier, Hawke's Bay, NZ and is perfect for an entry-level professional with at least 1 year of experience in a similar role.


Responsibilities: - Provide support to the accounts team with tasks such as data entry, invoicing, and reconciliations - Assist in managing customer accounts and resolving any issues or discrepancies - Prepare financial reports and documentation as required by management - Collaborate with team members and clients to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer service - Maintain accurate records and files for auditing purposes - Support the team in various ad-hoc tasks and projects as needed


Requirements: - Resourceful and able to work independently - Resilient and able to handle challenging situations with ease - Strong people management skills - Creative problem-solving abilities - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and accounting software - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred
