Job Description:
AutoNation is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Live Chat Manager to join our team on a part-time basis, working remotely from Napier, Hawke's Bay, NZ. As a Mid-to-Senior Level professional with at least 8 years of experience in managing live chat operations, you will play a crucial role in enhancing customer experience and driving sales through online chat interactions.
Responsibilities: 1. Manage and oversee the daily operations of the live chat team, ensuring timely and accurate responses to customer inquiries. 2. Develop and implement strategies to improve chat performance, increase customer engagement, and drive sales conversion. 3. Monitor chat metrics and KPIs to track performance, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to optimize chat interactions. 4. Train and coach chat agents on best practices, product knowledge, and customer service skills to ensure a consistent and high-quality chat experience. 5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and customer service, to align chat operations with business goals and objectives. 6. Conduct regular research and stay up-to-date on industry trends and advancements in live chat technology to innovate and improve our chat capabilities. 7. Provide regular reports and insights on chat performance, customer feedback, and opportunities for improvement to management.
Requirements: 1. 8+ years of experience in managing live chat operations in a customer service or sales environment. 2. Proven track record of driving sales and improving customer satisfaction through live chat interactions. 3. Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and coach a team of chat agents. 4. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven mindset to optimize chat performance. 5. Hardworking and dedicated to delivering exceptional customer service and driving results. 6. Innovative mindset with a passion for research and staying current on industry trends. 7. Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
