Job Description:
Pacific Edge Ltd is seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Call Center Assistant to join our team in Christchurch, Canterbury, NZ. This is a part-time entry-level position ideal for individuals looking to gain experience in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities: 1. Answer incoming calls from customers and provide assistance with inquiries, product information, and general support. 2. Make outbound calls to follow up on customer inquiries, resolve issues, and provide additional information as needed. 3. Manage customer accounts and update information in the company database accurately and efficiently. 4. Assist in maintaining call center performance metrics, including call volume, response times, and customer satisfaction rates. 5. Collaborate with team members to address escalated customer concerns and find solutions in a timely manner. 6. Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance product knowledge and customer service skills. 7. Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding data security, confidentiality, and quality standards.
Requirements: 1. Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor when interacting with customers over the phone. 2. Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and work efficiently in a high-pressure environment. 3. Proficiency in basic computer skills, including data entry, email communication, and navigating customer databases. 4. Demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities and adaptability to handle challenging situations with a positive attitude. 5. Previous experience in a customer service or call center role is preferred but not required. 6. Must be hardworking, adaptable, and able to effectively manage time to meet deadlines. 7. Commitment to providing exceptional customer service and representing the company in a professional manner.
