Job Description - Remote Call Center Specialist

General Mills is seeking a Remote Call Center Specialist to join our team in Hamilton, Waikato, NZ. As a part-time position, this entry-level role requires at least 1 year of experience in customer service or a related field.


Responsibilities: 1. Answer inbound calls from customers and provide excellent service and support. 2. Make outbound calls to follow up on customer inquiries or resolve issues. 3. Research and investigate customer concerns to provide accurate and timely solutions. 4. Maintain a positive attitude and represent the General Mills brand professionally. 5. Collaborate with team members and leaders to meet performance goals and targets. 6. Take ownership of customer issues and follow through to ensure customer satisfaction. 7. Provide leadership and support in training new team members. 8. Adhere to company policies and procedures to ensure compliance at all times.


Requirements: 1. Reliable and resilient personality traits to handle a fast-paced and dynamic work environment. 2. Strong research skills to quickly gather information and provide accurate solutions to customers. 3. Leadership skills to guide and mentor team members as needed. 4. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. 5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 6. Proficiency in basic computer skills and knowledge of customer service software. 7. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
