Job Description:
We are seeking a confident and independent Chat Support Assistant to join our team at Gallagher Group in Christchurch, Canterbury, NZ. This part-time Associate Level position requires at least 2 years of experience in a similar role. As a Chat Support Assistant, you will be responsible for providing customer support through online chat platforms, assisting customers with inquiries, troubleshooting technical issues, and providing product information.
Responsibilities: - Respond to customer inquiries and provide support through chat platforms - Troubleshoot technical issues and provide solutions to customers - Provide product information and assist with product recommendations - Escalate complex issues to the appropriate team member for resolution - Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through excellent service - Document customer interactions and follow up on inquiries as needed - Collaborate with other team members to improve the customer support process - Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and company policies
Requirements: - Minimum of 2 years of experience in customer support or a related field - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal - Ability to think critically and problem-solve independently - Strong research skills to quickly find solutions for customers - Proficient in using chat platforms and other customer support tools - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple chat conversations simultaneously - High level of attention to detail and accuracy - Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn - Confident in interacting with customers and providing support
