Remote Chat Support Manager

Job Description:

Univar is seeking a Remote Chat Support Manager to join our team in Tauranga, Bay Of Plenty, NZ. This position is part-time with a mid-to-senior level of seniority, requiring at least 8 years of experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities: 1. Manage a team of remote chat support agents, providing guidance, training, and support as needed. 2. Monitor chat support performance metrics and KPIs to ensure high-quality service and efficient resolution of customer inquiries. 3. Develop and implement strategies to improve chat support processes and streamline operations. 4. Collaborate with other departments to address customer issues and drive continuous improvement. 5. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to chat support agents to help them grow and develop in their roles. 6. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in chat support management.

Requirements: 1. Energetic and driven personality traits to motivate and inspire the chat support team. 2. Strong project management skills to oversee multiple initiatives and ensure successful outcomes. 3. Leadership ability to guide and mentor chat support agents towards achieving team goals. 4. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with team members and customers effectively. 5. Proficiency in chat support software and tools to efficiently manage chat queues and tickets.
