Job Description - Chat Support Manager

Job Description:


We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Chat Support Manager to join our team at WEC Energy Group in Dunedin, Otago, NZ. As a mid-to-senior level professional with at least 7 years of experience, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing our chat support team to ensure exceptional customer service and support.


Responsibilities: 1. Manage a team of chat support agents to deliver high-quality customer service and support. 2. Develop and implement strategies to improve chat support efficiency and customer satisfaction. 3. Monitor chat support performance metrics and KPIs to identify areas for improvement. 4. Train and mentor chat support agents to enhance their skills and knowledge. 5. Resolve escalated customer issues and complaints in a timely and professional manner. 6. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and support for customers. 7. Stay updated on industry best practices and trends in chat support to continually improve service quality.


Requirements: 1. At least 7 years of experience in a customer service or chat support role. 2. Proven experience in people management and emotional intelligence. 3. Energetic and hardworking personality traits. 4. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. 5. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks concurrently. 6. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred but not required.
