Job Description:
As a Chat Support Manager at Performance Food Group, you will be responsible for managing a team of chat support agents who provide customer service and technical support to our clients. This is a remote position, allowing you to work from the comfort of your own home in Christchurch, Canterbury, NZ. This is a part-time role suitable for someone with mid-to-senior level experience in a similar role, with at least 8 years of experience in the field.
Responsibilities: - Manage and oversee a team of chat support agents, ensuring they provide excellent customer service and meet performance targets - Develop and implement chat support strategies to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction - Train and onboard new team members, providing ongoing support and guidance - Monitor chat support performance metrics and make data-driven decisions to improve processes - Collaborate with other departments to address customer issues and provide solutions - Handle escalations and resolve complex customer inquiries - Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in chat support management
Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred - 8+ years of experience in a chat support or customer service role - Proven experience managing a team of chat support agents - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Motivated and independent worker with a drive to succeed - Excellent people management and leadership skills - Creative problem-solving abilities - Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
