Job Description - Chat Support Specialist - Work from home

Job Description:


We are looking for a proactive and enthusiastic Chat Support Specialist to join our team at Charter Communications. As a Chat Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and technical support through chat channels. This is a part-time remote position based in Dunedin, Otago, NZ.


Responsibilities: 1. Provide timely and accurate responses to customer inquiries through chat channels. 2. Assist customers with troubleshooting technical issues related to internet, TV, and phone services. 3. Educate customers about products and services offered by Charter Communications. 4. Document all customer interactions and resolutions in a detailed manner. 5. Collaborate with other team members to escalate complex issues and provide seamless support. 6. Continuously seek opportunities for improvement and innovation in customer service delivery. 7. Adhere to company policies and procedures while maintaining a high level of professionalism.


Requirements: 1. Minimum of 4 years of experience in customer service or technical support role. 2. Passionate about providing exceptional customer service and resolving customer issues. 3. Adaptable to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment. 4. Attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively. 5. Strong communication skills and ability to articulate technical information in a clear manner. 6. Basic knowledge of internet and telecommunications technologies. 7. Innovative mindset with the ability to think outside the box to solve problems. 8. High school diploma or equivalent required.
