Job Description - Contact Center Assistant - Work from home

Job Description:


We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Contact Center Assistant to join our team at Berkshire Hathaway in Wellington, NZ. This is a part-time, work-from-home position with opportunities for growth and development within the company. As an Associate Level Contact Center Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting customers with inquiries, resolving issues, and providing exceptional customer service.


Responsibilities: 1. Answer incoming calls and respond to customer emails in a professional and timely manner. 2. Assist customers with product information, pricing, and availability. 3. Resolve customer complaints and issues with a positive attitude and a focus on customer satisfaction. 4. Process orders and provide order status updates to customers. 5. Utilize CRM software to track customer interactions and ensure accurate record-keeping. 6. Collaborate with the sales team to support lead generation and follow-up efforts. 7. Identify opportunities for process improvement and provide feedback to management. 8. Stay informed about company products, services, and promotions to better assist customers.


Requirements: 1. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a customer service or sales role. 2. Hardworking and independent with strong time management skills. 3. Excellent decision-making and problem-solving abilities. 4. Persuasive communication skills with a customer-focused mindset. 5. Ability to work remotely and independently with minimal supervision. 6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and CRM software. 7. High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
