Remote Contact Center Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking a Remote Contact Center Specialist to join our team at Costco in Tauranga, Bay Of Plenty, NZ. This is a part-time position at the entry level suitable for individuals with at least 1 year of experience. As a Remote Contact Center Specialist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to Costco members through various channels including phone, email, and chat.

Responsibilities: 1. Handle inbound and outbound customer inquiries with professionalism and efficiency. 2. Assist members with product information, order processing, returns, and other inquiries. 3. Conduct research to provide accurate and timely responses to customer queries. 4. Utilize critical thinking skills to problem solve and resolve customer issues. 5. Document all interactions with customers accurately in the system. 6. Meet or exceed performance goals for customer service quality, productivity, and efficiency. 7. Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure seamless customer experience. 8. Stay up to date on Costco products, services, and promotions to better assist members. 9. Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times.

Requirements: 1. Passionate about delivering excellent customer service. 2. Resilient in handling challenging customer interactions. 3. Strong research skills to gather necessary information for customer inquiries. 4. Critical thinking skills to analyze and solve customer problems effectively. 5. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. 6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 7. Comfortable using computer systems and technology. 8. Flexible to work varying shifts including evenings and weekends. 9. High school diploma or equivalent.
