Customer Care Officer

Job Description:

We are looking for a dynamic and customer-oriented Customer Care Officer to join our team at Alaska Air Group in Wellington, NZ. As a part-time Associate Level position, the Customer Care Officer will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support to ensure a positive experience for our passengers.

Responsibilities: - Handle incoming customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat in a professional and timely manner - Assist customers with booking flights, managing reservations, and resolving any issues or concerns - Provide information on flight schedules, baggage policies, and other relevant details to customers - Process customer payments, refunds, and changes to bookings as needed - Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless customer service delivery - Maintain accurate and detailed records of customer interactions and transactions - Stay up to date on airline policies, procedures, and promotions to provide accurate information to customers

Requirements: - Minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer service role - Strong communication skills and the ability to interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner - Adaptable and confident personality traits - Excellent planning and organizational skills - Proficiency in using computer systems and customer service software - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment - Flexibility to work variable hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
