Customer Care Officer

Job Description: Univar is seeking a dedicated and reliable Customer Care Officer to join our team in Nelson, Nelson. As a Customer Care Officer, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our clients, addressing their inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner. This is a part-time entry-level position with no prior experience required.

Responsibilities: 1. Handle incoming customer calls, emails, and inquiries promptly and efficiently 2. Address customer concerns and provide solutions to any issues they may encounter 3. Process orders, returns, and exchanges accurately and in a timely manner 4. Maintain a positive and helpful attitude while assisting customers with their needs 5. Collaborate with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction and resolve any escalations 6. Provide product information and recommendations to customers as needed 7. Update customer accounts and database with accurate information

Requirements: 1. High school diploma or equivalent 2. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written 3. Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities 4. Persuasion skills to effectively address customer concerns and retain business 5. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively 6. Basic computer skills and familiarity with CRM systems is a plus 7. Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
