Job Description - Customer Service Associate

Job Description:


Hormel Foods is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate to join our team in Christchurch, Canterbury, NZ. As an Associate Level position, the ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in customer service. We are looking for someone who is confident, resourceful, and possesses strong presentation and critical thinking skills.


Responsibilities: - Serve as the first point of contact for customers, providing friendly and efficient service via phone, email, and chat - Resolve customer inquiries and issues in a timely and professional manner - Process orders, returns, and exchanges accurately - Collaborate with colleagues worldwide to ensure a seamless customer experience - Assist with product recommendations and provide information about our products and services - Maintain accurate customer records and update databases as needed - Monitor customer feedback and escalate any issues to the appropriate department


Requirements: - Minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Bachelor's degree in business or a related field (preferred) - Must be confident, resourceful, and have a positive attitude
