Job Description - Customer Service Manager

Job Description:


We are currently seeking a part-time Customer Service Manager to join our team at Cablevision Systems in Wellington, NZ. As a mid-to-senior level professional with at least 6 years of experience in customer service management, you will be responsible for overseeing our customer service team and ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction.


Responsibilities: - Manage a team of customer service representatives, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations - Develop and implement customer service policies and procedures to optimize efficiency and effectiveness - Handle escalated customer inquiries and complaints in a timely and professional manner - Monitor customer service metrics and KPIs to identify areas of improvement and implement strategies for enhancement - Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and marketing, to ensure a seamless customer experience - Conduct regular team meetings and trainings to keep team members informed and engaged - Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in customer service to continuously improve our processes


Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field - Proven experience in a customer service management role, preferably in the telecommunications industry - Strong leadership and people management skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities - Ability to make sound decisions under pressure - Resourceful and resilient, with the ability to handle challenging situations with professionalism - Proficiency in relevant software applications, such as CRM systems - Solid understanding of customer service principles and practices
