Job Description - Customer Service Specialist

JetBlue Airways is seeking a part-time Customer Service Specialist to join our team in Nelson, Nelson, NZ. As an Associate Level role, the Customer Service Specialist will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional service to our customers.


Responsibilities: - Provide excellent customer service via phone, email, and in person - Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and requests in a timely and professional manner - Assist customers with booking flights, changing reservations, and resolving any issues that may arise - Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless customer experiences - Keep accurate records of customer interactions and transactions - Stay up-to-date on company policies, procedures, and services - Take ownership of customer issues and follow through to resolution - Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement and innovation - Prioritize understanding and empathy in all interactions


Requirements: - Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience - Reliable and energetic personality traits - Strong people management and communication skills - Ability to think creatively and innovate solutions - Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and other relevant software - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail - Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
